One World Information System

One World Information System is a site providing research, analysis, commentary, methods, tools, and services for those interested in the topic of  “integration” up to a global scale.

Integration can mean “connection” in some contexts, “unification” as the most complete form of integration, and oneness, federation, consolidation, association, relation, etc., in other contexts.

The material will be categorized and published using the three major facets of Topic, Viewpoint, and Audience.

This site’s material will be presented in four levels:

• Integration Concepts
• Integration Processes
• Information Integration
• Integration Products and Services

These four levels of material will address three viewpoints of Integration:

• Perceptual
• Scientific
• Societal (including integration technology and integration through use of terminology management and technical communication)

The material will also be organized and presented as frequent blog posts and published pages positioned for seven types of audiences:

• Manager
• Worker
• Technologist
• Integration  Practitioner/Operator
• Integration Consultant/Implementor

For example, the category code of  A1B1C1 identifies material relevant to the Integration Concepts topic, Perception viewpoint, and Public audience.  Content levels A0, B0, C0, C1, and C2 may access the material with those category codes at no cost.  Content levels A1-A4, B1-B3, and C3 through C7 will be asked to purchase progressively funded subscriptions to access that material.
